How to remove beer stains properly?

A beer stain is generally light in color and may not seem like a big deal. But quickly tackling stained clothing can make the difference between a fixed stain and a dress that looks new. The sugar in a beer stain overheats, so resist the need to use hot water. House Cleaning Round Rock has some tips on removing beer stains.

Remove fresh beer stains

During house cleaning, rinse the beer stain thoroughly from the back of the clothes with cold water. You want to go through the back of the stain, so beer has to travel through less fiber to remove it. Remember that heat sets the spot. Use a liquid laundry detergent mixed with cold water and pour over the beer stain. Leave the detergent on the alcoholic stain for at least 5 minutes.

When house cleaning, if you don't have laundry detergent, use dishwashing detergent. Rinse the stained area well. If the beer stain is on, you can try drying the stained area with 1 part vinegar, 2 parts water. First, make sure your clothes are color resistant and try the vinegar in a seam or hidden area to make sure it isn't harmful. Vinegar will whiten some types of clothing, so we advise you to rinse it immediately and thoroughly with hot water. Wash according to clothing instructions. Before drying, be sure to remove the stain completely. It is recommended to let the clothes air dry to make sure the stain disappears.

Remove dry beer stains

When house cleaning, for dry beer stains, you should start by moistening the stained area with cold water. Use a few drops of liquid laundry detergent or dishwashing detergent and rub it on the stained area and let it sit for 5 minutes. Rinse well. Dry beer stains can start to stink, so we recommend applying a little baking soda to the stained area to help absorb odors and any excess stains. After about 15 minutes, rinse the baking soda. Repeat the procedure with laundry detergent and rinse until the stain disappears.

During house cleaning, you can try the above step of the vinegar, but keep in mind that some items can be bleached with vinegar. You could first try on a hidden seam on your clothing.

Eliminates beer stains on delicate fabrics

When house cleaning, delicate fabrics can be difficult to process. If there is a beer stain on the delicate fabric, you should first try using cold water to remove the stain. Rinse through the back of the stain with cold water. Next, take a mild, light-colored cleanser and mix a few drops with a cup of water. During house cleaning, take a clean white cloth or towel and apply a soft sponge with the dishwashing detergent mixture to the stained area. Dry the area with a towel soaked in water. Never rub the area. Drying is simply exerting slight pressure without rubbing.
